Terms and Conditions

By using Gambling Sites you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the website.

1. Definitions

1.1. “We”, “us”, “our” means Gambling Sites, registered at which publishes the Gambling Sites under the trade name Gambling.

1.2. “Website”, “site” means Gambling Sites, together with every page, review, guide, table and comparison published on it.

1.3. “You”, “user”, “reader” means any person who accesses the website.

1.4. “Operator” means a third-party gambling company whose product is described on the website, such as an online casino or a sportsbook.

1.5. “Content” means all text, rankings, ratings, tables, graphics and other material we publish.

2. What This Website Is

2.1. We are an independent publisher. We review and compare licensed online gambling sites available to players in Canada and explain how licensing, payouts, bonus terms and provincial regulation work.

2.2. We do not provide gambling services. We do not hold player accounts, take deposits, accept wagers, run games or pay out winnings. No transaction you make with an operator passes through us.

2.3. Because we are not a gambling operator, no gambling licence is held by us and none is required. Every operator we describe holds its own licence, granted by its own regulator, and remains solely responsible for its service.

2.4. Our content is information and opinion. It is not legal, financial or tax advice, and it is not a promise about how any operator will treat you.

3. Eligibility

3.1. You must be of legal gambling age in your province to use this website: 19 years or older in most of Canada, and 18 years or older in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.

3.2. You are responsible for knowing whether online gambling is lawful where you are, and for complying with the rules that apply to you. Regulation in Canada is provincial, so your obligations depend on your location rather than on ours.

3.3. If you have self-excluded from gambling, whether through an operator, a provincial programme or blocking software, you should not use this website. Our Responsible Gambling page explains what is available instead.

4. Using the Website

4.1. You may read, print and share our content for personal, non-commercial use.

4.2. You may not scrape, crawl at scale, republish, resell, mirror or systematically copy our content, ratings or tables without written permission.

4.3. You may not attempt to interfere with the website, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, or use automated tools that place unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

4.4. You may not submit content to us that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading, abusive or infringes anyone’s rights.

4.5. We may restrict or withdraw access where these terms are breached.

5. Accuracy of Our Content

5.1. We take accuracy seriously. Facts about operators are checked against the operator’s own published terms and cashier, and licence numbers are checked against the public register of the regulator that issued them. Our Ranking Methodology page sets out exactly how we score and rank.

5.2. Gambling markets move quickly. Bonus amounts, wagering requirements, payment methods, withdrawal windows and game counts change without notice, and an operator may amend its terms at any moment.

5.3. The operator’s own terms always prevail over anything published here. Before you register or deposit, read the terms on the operator’s site. Where our page and the operator’s page disagree, the operator’s page is correct and ours is out of date.

5.4. If you find an error, tell us at support@GamblingSites. We correct confirmed mistakes promptly and, where the correction is material, note that the page was revised.

6. Ratings and Rankings

6.1. Ratings on this website are editorial judgements produced by applying the weighted criteria published on our Ranking Methodology page. They are not scientific measurements and they are not guarantees.

6.2. A high rating means an operator performed well against our criteria at the time of assessment. It does not mean you will win, that a withdrawal will always clear at the stated speed, or that a dispute will be resolved in your favour.

6.3. Commercial relationships with operators, where they exist, do not determine position, rating or inclusion in our lists. Editorial decisions are made independently of them.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

7.1. The website contains links to operators and to external resources such as regulators and support organisations.

7.2. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, terms, privacy practices, availability or the way they treat their customers.

7.3. Once you leave our website, your relationship is with that third party alone. Any account, deposit, bonus, wager or withdrawal is governed by its terms, not ours.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. The content, layout, structure, rating framework and trade name of the website belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade-mark law.

8.2. Operator names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and descriptive purposes only. Their appearance on the website does not imply endorsement of us by them.

8.3. If you believe content on the website infringes your rights, write to support@GamblingSites with details and we will investigate.

9. Responsible Gambling

9.1. Gambling is entertainment with a cost, not a way to earn money, and losses are the expected outcome over time. We publish on that basis.

9.2. Every licensed operator offers deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion. We encourage you to use them from the start rather than after a problem appears.

9.3. Free, confidential support is available across Canada. Our Responsible Gambling page lists the organisations, their contact details and the blocking tools you can install.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

10.1. The website is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or continuously up to date.

10.2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for gambling losses you incur with any operator, for an operator’s refusal or delay in paying you, for changes an operator makes to its terms, bonuses or limits, or for any decision you take based on our content.

10.3. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or opportunity.

10.4. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10.5. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for access to the website, which is normally nil, since access is free.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the website, or content you submit to us.

12. Complaints

12.1. Complaints about this website go to complaints@GamblingSites. We acknowledge within two business days and aim to resolve within 15 business days, telling you if a matter needs longer.

12.2. Complaints about an operator must go to that operator first, through its own complaints procedure. If it fails to resolve the matter, escalate to the regulator named on its licence: the AGCO and iGaming Ontario for Ontario-registered sites, the AGLC for Alberta, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, the Malta Gaming Authority, the UK Gambling Commission or the Curaçao Gaming Authority as applicable. We have no authority to settle a dispute between you and an operator, though we welcome being told about one, because it informs our coverage.

12.3. Privacy complaints are handled under our Privacy Policy and may be escalated to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

13.1. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Gambling Sites is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

13.2. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your province of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.

14. Changes to These Terms

14.1. We may amend these terms to reflect changes in our services, our providers or the law. The revision date at the top shows the current version.

14.2. Material changes are announced on the website. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the amended terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the website.

15. Severability and Entire Agreement

15.1. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force and the provision is read down to the minimum extent necessary.

15.2. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, form the whole agreement between you and us regarding the website.
