On November 14, 2022 the City of Martensville announced it received funding support for its new multi-purpose community recreation facility. Along with nine other projects across the Province, the City of Martensville received funding through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP)- Rural and Northern Infrastructure stream.
The Community Recreation Facility will receive $17.8 Million from the Government of Canada and an additional $14.8 Million from the Government of Saskatchewan. The City of Martensville has dedicated $11.8 Million toward the $44 Million project.
